Above the settlement of Podpeca, at an elevation of 992 metres, stands Koča na Pikovem, surrounded by pristine nature and rich cultural heritage. Next to the hut are the church of St. Helena, a small chapel, and a majestic linden tree, which was declared the most beautiful linden tree in Slovenia in 1988.
From the viewpoint near the hut, visitors are rewarded with stunning views of Peca, Uršlja Gora, and the Smrekovec mountain range – a panorama that impresses in every season.

The hut offers warm meals and snacks for hikers, while larger groups can, by prior arrangement, rent the space for celebrations or picnics. Nearby, there is also a volleyball court, ideal for relaxation after a hike.
